A simple spooky hack for your existing amigurumi, mummify it!

It's so simple, make a foundation chain and just go until you're happy with its coverage. Or chain about 200-220 and then HDC your way back for a thicker wrap (pictured).

You can also make a longer chain and single crochet or slip stitch for a thinner wrap.
